Why More Homeowners Are Switching to Tankless

Homeowners are switching to tankless water heaters—and for good reason. Tankless systems provide a more efficient way to heat water, only operating when hot water is needed instead of running constantly like traditional tanks. Tankless water heaters save energy, lower monthly utility bills, and extend the life of your equipment.

Tankless units also free up valuable space with their compact design, making them ideal for smaller homes or anyone wanting a cleaner setup. With a longer lifespan and fewer maintenance issues, tankless systems are a smart investment in comfort and efficiency.

Endless Hot Water, Lower Bills, and a Smaller Footprint

One of the biggest advantages of going tankless is never running out of hot water — even during back-to-back showers, laundry loads, or heavy household use.

Tankless water heaters deliver a continuous flow of hot water exactly when you need it without the limits of a storage tank. Plus, tankless models consume significantly less energy by heating water on demand instead of keeping a tank hot 24/7, leading to lower monthly bills. Their sleek, wall-mounted design saves floor space and gives your home a modern, efficient feel. It’s a simple upgrade that delivers lasting comfort and real savings.

Is Tankless Right for Your Home? We’ll Help You Decide

While tankless systems offer significant benefits, they aren’t the best fit for every home — and that’s where honest advice matters. During your estimate, our plumbers will inspect your current plumbing setup, discuss your household’s water usage, and recommend the best solution.

If tankless is the right choice, we’ll explain why. If a traditional tank system is better for your situation, we’ll tell you that, too.

At P&L Plumbing, our goal isn’t to sell you a product — it’s to ensure you get the system that keeps your home comfortable and efficient for years to come.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great company and great prices. The owner, Kevin, is also a stand-up guy and really looks out for his customers (especially ones that know nothing about plumbing like me).

These guys will be my new plumbing company going forward!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had P&L out for a leak from the washing machine into the drainage pipe in the wall. Kevin took care of it efficiently and told me everything he did. We had him out for a new water heater last year and previous leaks. I always ask for him by name. Thanks guys!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was the first time I've called P&L Plumbing. I decided to try them after reading reviews on the company. Kevin came over and assessed my situation. I didn't end up needing a plumber, but if I do in the future, I'll be calling P&L and asking for Kevin. He seemed very knowledgeable and wasn't at all high pressure, trying to sell me something I didn't need. Thank you Kevin and P&L!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Given my ignorance, Kevin could have performed and charged me for a big ticket job, but he notice the P-drain was dry and had me pour a couple cups of water into it to stop the bad smell. He was a real pro!

Cost depends on the brand, size, and the setup of your home’s plumbing. We’ll provide a clear, upfront estimate during your inspection — with no hidden fees or pressure.

Yes — but the right size matters. We’ll help you choose a unit sized for your household’s water usage to ensure you always have enough hot water, even during heavy use.

How long does it take to install a tankless water heater?

Most installations are completed in a single day. We handle everything from removing your old system to fully installing and testing the new tankless unit.
